"Summer Cypher" - Freezy, TAllent, & BirdCall

Verse 1- Freezy Do you know Mac Miller? No but really, this guy can really rap. Very sexy though ladies. The verse is well crafted. I'd do him, but that shit won't give you a record deal. Change up the flow and this is a guy that I could see making it in the game.

Verse 2- TAllent, Got a Drake-esque look, but much more attractive. The verse says he's taken --so turn off,  ANYWAYZ the verse is beyond well written. He's a MC you really have to think about.  When he first went in, I thought for sure that he'd be the best on the verse, but I get the feeling he can go in harder when he's truly inspired. I feel I should clarify what I mean by "harder", I think he can spit with more depth and lyricism. He's certainly a skilled lyricist, but what makes him worth signing?

Verse 3- BirdCall- Swag, Swag, Swag. Mind is blown. Flow is infectious. Looks and sounds like no on in current hip-hop. Kudos for the best verse in this song goes to this guy. Refreshing, enlightening --- not sexy ladies, but how many great rappers are? On the bright side, when he hits the beat, the panties do get wet ladies.

Overall: 4.0/5.0

VERSACE (REMIX) by DDcp via >>@WhatUpItsDarius<<< featuring @Malibu_Rell @hotasfishgrease @quayfckndaddy @GalaxySwagg_24

Rell Daddy (1st VERSE)- Fresh, smooth, some originality. Probably the sexiest dude on this mix ladies.

J Barnes (2nd VERSE)- Love the accent, if you become more lyrical he would be dangerous. I wan to hear his voice on all of the Versace chorus'.

Dandre (3rd VERSE)- Voice of a true MC, some originality, but its clear he's heard a lot of music. Love the lisp, its reminiscent of B.I.G. He's educated on the verse. In my opinion, you have the most commercial potential. Goes hard! Beyond Lyrical. Best verse in my opinion.

Quay Daddy (4th VERSE)- "I need a third wrist, cause these niggas keep watching me", smooth flow. Love the command of language.

Trey Law (5th VERSE)- Good branding, Not a lot of content, but the voice is fire. He understands the mic and he can spit.

Overall: 3.5/5.0

Hip-Hop is.. DEAD by @CockDaHomoMC

This may offend some producers on my timeline, however this isn't my intention. As a rapper, I'm forced to admit that hip hop still seems to be in the dark ages, musically. As rock, metal, and even pop have embraced electronica's sonic advances, be it the incorporation of avant garde time signatures, rapid drill 'n bass percussion-lines, and audiophilic "3D" quality production, mainstream hip hop still seems to rely solely on a 70-100bpm 4/4 time signature, 3-4 minute instrumental track.

There are exceptions, such as Antipop Consortium, Saul Williams, Kool Keith, and the Wu Tang Clan, but all in all, the best the Top 40 within the genre can come up with is a Skrillex collaboration (A$ap Rocky's latest album comes to mind) - Skrillex being the most accessable of the EBM subgenre of 'dubstep.' It seems one of the only mainstream artists willing to radically advance hip hop is Kanye West, who has sampled from IDM pioneer Aphex Twin, progressive-rock titans King Crimson, and even signed Warp artist Hudson Mohawke to his G.O.O.D. Music label as producer.

All in all, I don't think hip hop is BAD, some may argue they've succeeded in keeping their roots pure. But as one who listens to a vast array of music, there just seems to be little to no progression whatsoever in the medium. Not only is it cold product commercially, but it's somewhat outdated. Again this is coming from a hip hop artist who enjoys working within the typical (need I say cliche) parameters of rap music. I just feel, as of late, as though I'm not advancing ART working within said parameters.

MOTIVATION - NIX AKA NIKKI MCKNIGHT - 3RIPLE 2OUBLE ENTERTAINMENT

LIL WAYNE SCREWS CHRIS BOSH'S WIFE

Lil Wayne is upset. Last night at the finale for All Star Weekend, Tunechi let a few things off of his chest before leaving the stage at the Beats By Dre party in Houston, TX. If you remember a few days ago at the Miami Heat/L.A. Lakers game, Young Tune was escorted from the American Airlines Arena after allegedly making threatening gestures towards a Miami Heat fan after some back-and-forth heckling. Well when Weezy got a live microphone last night, he let it all hang out in a memorable rant picked up by
WorldStarHipHop."The NBA banned me from all NBA events because the Miami Heat told them to ban me," Wayne said to a raucous crowd. "You let them ni**as know I'm from the streets so this ain't no Twitter beefin or no online beef, just take it to the motherf**king streets, ni**a. F**k all them ni**as. F**k LeBron, f**k She-Wade, f**k Chris Bosh, f**k all them ni**as, man. And, and, and, I f**ked Chris Bosh wife." Well, damn. The I Am Not A Human Being rapper also went on to state that he wasn't 2Pac, but he was "the new Pac," after finishing his profanity-laced rant against the NBA and the Miami Heat. You can check out all of the video footage and slides documenting what the camera phones didn't catch after the jump --
